1. Delivery Areas

Solaris Machinery provides delivery services throughout South Africa, including all nine provinces:

For deliveries to remote areas or locations outside standard delivery zones, additional fees may apply. Please contact our team for a custom delivery quote.

3. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on the following factors:

  • Equipment Size & Weight: Larger and heavier machinery requires specialized transport vehicles.
  • Delivery Distance: Costs increase with distance from our distribution centers.
  • Delivery Type: Express delivery incurs additional charges.
  • Special Requirements: Crane unloading, site access challenges, or specific delivery windows may add costs.

Free Delivery: We offer free standard delivery within Gauteng for orders over R500,000. Contact us for bulk order shipping discounts.

4. Delivery Process

  1. Order Confirmation: Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email with your order details.
  2. Processing: We prepare your equipment for delivery, including inspection and documentation.
  3. Dispatch Notification: You will receive tracking information once your order has been dispatched.
  4. Delivery Scheduling: Our logistics team will contact you to schedule the delivery date and time.
  5. Delivery: Equipment is delivered to your specified location. A signature is required upon receipt.
  6. Inspection: Please inspect the equipment upon delivery and note any damage on the delivery receipt.

5. Unloading Requirements

For heavy machinery delivery, please ensure the following at your delivery location:

  • Adequate access for large delivery vehicles (flatbed trucks, low-loaders)
  • Sufficient space for unloading operations
  • Hard, level surface capable of supporting equipment weight
  • If required, crane or forklift available for unloading (or arranged through us at additional cost)
  • Authorized person present to receive and sign for delivery

6. Insurance & Liability

All equipment is fully insured during transit from our facility to your delivery location. Once the equipment has been delivered and signed for, responsibility transfers to the buyer. We recommend inspecting equipment immediately upon delivery and documenting any transit damage before signing the delivery receipt.

7. Failed Deliveries

If delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect address, no authorized recipient present, or site access issues, the delivery will be rescheduled. Additional delivery attempts may incur extra charges. Storage fees may apply if equipment must be stored while awaiting redelivery.

8. International Shipping

We can arrange international shipping to neighboring countries including Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, and other African nations. International shipments are subject to customs duties, import taxes, and additional documentation requirements. Please contact our sales team for international shipping quotes and requirements.
